黄金走强，但难言重启涨势，关键看拜登能否推进一大抱负
周二（4月6日），现货黄金走强，因美国公债收益率承压，但美元指数在创出近两周低点后企稳反弹，限制了金价升势。不过，尽管有迹象显示美国经济复苏前景强劲，美元真正重启涨势需要更多新的题材。
北京时间20：14，现货黄金上涨0.51%至1736.79美元/盎司；COMEX期金主力合约上涨0.49%至1737.1美元/盎司；美元指数上浮0.11%至92.683。
梅斯特：美联储应“保持耐心”
克利夫兰联储主席梅斯特周一表示，美国经济前景正在变得光明，但美联储应坚持宽松货币政策，以帮助进一步支持增长，“我们需要看到更多的进展。”她指的是3月就业报告。
她称，尽管很高兴看到3月就业岗位增加91.6万个，创七个月来最多，但岗位数仍比2020年2月的水平少了近850万个，“我们需要更多这样的就业报告，才能真正取得比我们迄今看到的更大的进展，我认为，我们在制定货币政策时需要非常刻意地保持耐心。”
梅斯特在接受CNBC采访时表示，“我认为下半年我们将看到非常强劲的表现，但距离实现我们的政策目标仍很远。”她指的是美联储的充分就业和2%通胀目标。她预计未来几个月通胀数据会更高，但根据与商界领袖的谈话，他们认为价格上涨将不会持续下去。
至于近期公债收益率上升，一些人担心这可能打击美联储提振经济的努力，梅斯特表示，她并不担心。她指出，收益率上涨并不是无序的，涨势反映经济前景改善，“我认为没有什么事需要美联储做出反应。”
今年一季度，美元指数和美债收益率强劲，因投资者押注在大规模刺激措施和积极疫苗接种进展的支持下，美国经济从疫情中反弹的速度快于其他发达国家。
但两者4月开局疲弱，即使美国3月非农就业报告和3月ISM非制造业PMI表现喜人，并激发美股创下纪录高位，对冲基金仍削减了美元多仓，美指前一交易日录得3月17日以来最大单日跌幅，这可能表明市场目前已经消化了大部分乐观前景。
拜登：上调企业税不会损害经济
美国总统拜登周一为他提出的上调企业税为大幅增加美国基础设施支出筹资的提议进行辩护，他表示自己一点也不担心上调税率会损害经济，且没有证据表明他上调企业税的提议会导致企业离开美国。
拜登表示，其他国家正在几十亿、几十亿美元地投资基础设施，美国需要这样做才能提高竞争力，“我将尽我的最大努力推动改变状况，这样我们才能与世界其他国家竞争，世界其他地方的所有国家都在投资基础设施，我们也要这样做。”
但拜登的增税计划招致了部分共和党人和民主党人的批评，民主党参议员Joe Manchin就是其中一位。他的支持可能对确保拜登的计划在两党势均力敌的参议院获得通过至关重要。
白宫发言人普萨基告诉记者，拜登总统愿意与共和党人和民主党人讨论如何为拟议中的投资筹措资金。当被问及政府是否分析了同意将企业税率设在25%的成本时，普萨基指出，28%的税率将低于二战以来的任何时候。25%是Manchin表示他会接受的最高水平。
美国财长耶伦周一表示，她正在与20国集团（G20）国家合作，就全球最低企业税率达成一致，并承诺恢复美国在多边合作中的领导地位将加强全球经济，促进美国利益。
税务专家说，如果不设定全球最低税率，美国的企业税率将再次高于其他一些主要经济体，而美国的提议可能有助于启动主要经济体之间的税收协议谈判。
美债收益率上涨势头衰竭，显示美国相对于其他主要经济体的复苏前景优势正在失去动能，但如果拜登的加税倡议最终得到落实，美债收益率或重启涨势，黄金有可能重新陷入年初以来的震荡下行走势。
民主党今年可使用立法协商来通过更多立法
美国参议院民主党领袖舒默的发言人Justin Goodman表示，美国参议院议员周一裁定，民主党人今年可以使用一项被称为立法协商的程序工具来通过更多立法。这或许能为民主党在没有共和党支持的情况下通过基础设施法案扫清道路。
这样做可以绕过共和党可能采取的阻挠议事做法，不需要达到参议院通常的60票门槛。民主党在上月动用了该程序工具，在没有共和党投票支持的情况下通过了拜登的1.9万亿美元的新冠救助法案。
Goodman表示，民主党人尚未决定是否进一步使用立法协商，但资深议员的意见是“向前迈出的重要一步”。该裁决意味着，他们可以将该措施视为对预算立法的修订，从而只需在参议院获得简单多数通过即可。
美国参议院财务委员会主席Ron Wyden称，他对国会议员的决定感到高兴，“美国人民希望采取大胆的行动来解决我们国家面临的许多挑战，民主党现在有更多选择来克服共和党的阻挠，完成任务。”
西太平洋银行策略师认为美元有进一步上涨的空间，并称强劲的经济数据巩固了美元无与伦比的成长反弹题材，美元指数还没有因宏观面的强劲表现而获益，回撤至92后会转升，并挑战2020年四季度高点94.31附近。
