外汇新手和老手的区别
对平台的纠结，更多的体现在新手身上。入门的交易者，缺少直观的平台感受，放眼望去四处都是外汇平台，澳洲的、英国的、塞浦路斯的，还有很多中国人开的。市场上存在很多的杂音和非理性的声音，干扰投资者正常的判断。
我们需要相信的是，当前外汇市场上主流的交易平台是好的，维持着行业正能量。虽然每个平台多多少少都存在一定的不足，但不影响正常的交易。
不少投资者对外汇平台有一种风声鹤唳，草木皆兵的感觉。一概排斥所有平台，到最后谈平台谈到去银行开交易账户。也有投资者，言必谈美国监管和英国监管，其它一概否定。部分投资者，只迷信瑞士平台和盈透证券，对其它平台抱有强烈的抵触情绪。凡此种种，我们认为都不是理性挑选平台的声音。
对于新手，我们不建议投入很多资金交易。外汇投资是一个漫长的过程，从入门到熟练，直到稳定盈利，中间需要经历很多的考验。资金量从小到大，从不断爆仓到逐步稳定，这是自然的必经之路。
因此，外汇新手挑选平台，不必要去开瑞士账户和盈透证券。这些大平台资金安全，但是开户手续的确繁琐，对于初入交易的人而言，堪称“折磨”。
我们更希望投资者从小做到大的过程中，多了解一些其他平台的特性，而不是从一开始就盯紧某个平台。
新手开户，在考虑资金安全的同时，要简化手续。原则上我们还是向新手朋友们，推荐英国和澳洲监管的平台。一些品牌知名度好的塞浦路斯、新西兰和其他监管的平台，根据各自情况，也可以酌情考虑。
我们并不一味地排斥低监管平台，毕竟赠金和灵活度在某些情况下也有其优势，就看交易者怎么用。
资金量规模的区别
在资金量规模这一块，汇商琅琊榜向大家推荐平台的原则方向，会有一些改变。大资金首要重视平台的绝对安全。很多投资者的交易资金，是客户的资金。这意味着客户资金不允许出现闪失，否则会造成社会影响。
大资金的规模我们划分一个量级。
一万美金以内的，可以自由选择，市场上常见的有一定知名度的平台。英澳监管优先，其它监管也可以根据市场口碑去尝试。
一万到五万美金的，选择澳洲和英国监管平台。
十万美金之内的，可以选择英国监管和上市公司的行业知名品牌。这样的平台大概有十来家，问题都不会太大。
超过十万美金，我们原则上建议选择瑞讯银行、LMAX、杜高斯贝银行、盛宝银行这样的行业领导者，或者一些机构专用的ECN平台。
大资金开户麻烦这件事情上，事关资金安全，麻烦再大都不算是个事。对于瑞士平台，可能需要公证、居委会开证明、邮寄材料到海外等，只是流程和时间问题。大平台的资金安全和交易环境，值得称道。
这样的划分标准，可能会显得一刀切和不那么理性。汇商琅琊榜的出发角度，仅限于从新手看待平台的角度去给出一个建议。
交易模式的区别
交易模式我们定义为刷头皮、对冲、锁仓、超短、波段、中长线，还有EA交易。不同的交易模式，对于平台的选择区别很大。
以EA交易模式为例，很多平台对EA交易有限制。高频EA不适合在MM模式的平台交易，像国内以刷单和剥头皮为主的EA，集中在少数几个有口碑、但监管不足的平台。比如EXNESS、Tickmill，都是EA剥头皮模式的投资者特别喜爱的平台。当然，他们出入金的速度之快，也有效改善了监管方面的不足，小资金EA的最爱。
有些平台不允许对冲锁仓。有些平台，对冲后对于保证金的要求明显不一样。比如XM平台，对仓位对冲后，会释放掉所有占用的保证金。而更多的平台，对冲会增加耗费更多的保证金。这些细微模式的差别，对于交易的影响，其实是非常大的。
有些平台会在交易中产生大量的赠金。关于赠金，市场争议很大，总体上认为羊毛出在羊身上。可是，这个市场上就有很多人，专门玩跨平台对冲套取赠金，风生水起。这也是一种盈利模式。这就需要精通各家平台的赠金政策和交易模式，在不触犯平台规定的前提下，安全巧妙地做到低风险套利。
这些都是平台的细节问题。更多的细节，包括伊斯兰账户套息，原油套息，都需要和具体的平台对接。这就是建立在交易模式上的选择平台的方法。
商业模式的区别
商业模式的区别对于选择平台影响也很大。如果你是个人交易者，和外汇资管方选择平台，也会有不少的区别。比如，外汇资管方承接客户资金账户，通常会要求指定的交易平台，这其中涉及到商业运营的模式，比如保底，保一定的收益，或者允许30%的净值亏损等。这些理财操盘模式，和佣金会紧密相关。
对于外汇资管方来说，太低的点差，并不是最好的选择。尽管可以节省交易成本，但是如果资管方拿不到更多的佣金，恐怕也赚不到钱，这都需要权衡。
在代理商这块，平台的特点和模式选择更是成为代理商的重点考察对象。并不是说像杜高斯贝银行这样的优质平台，就会成为代理商的最爱。相反，一些低监管的平台， 可能更受到代理商的喜欢。比如，灵活的政策，可以根据需求自由加点差，返佣高，返佣速度快，有赠金，甚至平台方会对接EA和跟单系统帮助代理开发客户。这些因素，都很大程度上影响着代理商选择平台。
服务模式的区别
不同的平台提供的服务也是不一样的。有的平台对线下开拓的支持力度很大，各地的代理商会议营销，平台商可能愿意派出讲师，承包费用，帮助代理商开发当地市场。有的平台会在全国落地线下运营中心，依托当地资源深耕客户。
有的平台可能更多地在线上开展业务，受制于合规和监管的要求，在国内甚至没有办事处。他们提供的线下服务不一定那么丰富，但是线上业务可能推进得很好。这些服务模式上的区别，都是挑选平台重点考虑的因素。
有些交易平台的后台代理分成系统，开发得非常人性化，便于代理商开发当地资源，实行灵活的多级分成制度。而某些平台，甚至没有任何的子代理制度，只能开发直客。
