在展馆里用数字人民币“买买买”是种什么样的体验？记者来到中国银行设立的数字人民币体验活动专区，在新办一张银行卡、下载银行App后，通过中国银行工作人员的帮助，在App里顺利开通了数字人民币钱包，输入密码、轻轻一点，仅仅一两秒钟的时间，就将银行账户中的钱转到了数字人民币钱包中。
给数字人民币钱包“充值”后就可以开始消费。在一架售货柜机前，记者选中一瓶矿泉水，与其他第三方支付平台类似，使用数字人民币钱包中“扫一扫”功能就能完成支付，顺利地拿到商品。
数字人民币钱包也有自己的独特之处，与第三方支付平台不同的是，即便处于双离线状态，数字人民币钱包也能实现支付。
何谓“双离线”？中国银行相关负责人告诉记者，“双离线”是指在介质和受理终端都离线的情况下仍可实现支付业务，说简单点，那就是手机和POS机都把网络关闭，商家依然可以通过数字人民币钱包收钱。
记者随后来到5号馆的海旅免税店里购买了一块沉香香皂，在把手机打开飞行模式并关闭POS机网络的情况下，将带有数字人民币钱包的手机与POS机贴在一起，等待几秒后，便完成了支付。
这意味着，相较于第三方支付平台，数字人民币钱包更接近真实钱包，人们哪怕从网络世界“下线”，也能享受到新技术带来的便利。
