人民币(6.4332, 0.0040, 0.06%)汇率创三年来新高 企业加大逆周期操作降购汇成本
4月初，国际货币基金组织（IMF）发布“官方外汇储备货币构成”的最新数据显示，截至去年四季度末，人民币外汇储备总额由去年三季度的2455.5亿美元升至2675.2亿美元，实现连续八个季度的增长。
随着美元指数(90.2812, 0.1174, 0.13%)跌至90附近，人民币汇率迅速迈入快速上涨行情。
截至5月11日19时，境内在岸市场人民币兑美元汇率（CNY）触及6.4249，隔夜一度创下2018年6月以来最高值6.4176。
中国民生银行首席研究员温彬指出，4月以来人民币兑美元快速大幅升值，主要得益于两方面因素，一是中国经济基本面持续好转，包括一季度GDP同比增长18.3%，今年前3个月经常账户顺差额达到751亿美元等；二是美联储延续QE货币政策令美元重回跌势，无形间助推人民币汇率涨幅扩大。
值得注意的是，4月以来人民币涨势明显强于美元。目前美元指数尚未跌至年内低点89.68，但人民币汇率早已突破年内新高6.4203，“五一”节后3个交易日人民币兑美元汇率涨幅更是达到0.8%。
“这背后，与人民币在全球储备货币的占比持续增加存在着密切关系。”一位华尔街大型宏观经济型对冲基金经理向记者指出。

摩根士丹利（Morgan Stanley）近日发布报告认为，到2030年会有逾3万亿美元全球资金流向中国资产，令人民币在全球储备资产的占比达到5%-10%，成为仅次于美元、欧元(1.2136, -0.0011, -0.09%)的第三大储备货币同时，带动人民币汇率均衡估值实现更大幅度的提升。
外贸企业逆势购汇锁定“汇兑低成本”
“以往人民币汇率一旦大幅上涨，众多外贸企业购汇意愿就会大幅降低，都等着汇率持续上涨达到最高点再购汇，实现购汇成本的最小化。”上述股份制银行对公业务部门主管介绍，如今，反而是在人民币兑美元汇率上涨突破6.5后，不少外贸企业纷纷开展逆周期操作，加大购汇力度以锁定未来对外付款的较低购汇成本。
究其原因，一是越来越多外贸企业意识到未来人民币汇率仍会延续双向波动态势，因此在汇率较高区间加大购汇力度，不失为明智之举；二是外贸企业自身的外汇套保操作趋于理性，不再一味追求购汇成本最小化，而是根据自身业务需求与外汇资金周转特点，妥善构建不同阶段的外汇套保策略与盈亏考核机制，从而大幅减少盲目追涨杀跌式操作。
一位华东地区城商行跨境业务部门负责人则指出，面对4月以来人民币汇率快速大幅上涨，外贸企业外汇套保如此“淡定”的另一个原因，是他们通过其他方式有效规避了汇率大幅波动给出口业务利润所带来的剧烈冲击，比如年初以来，越来越多外贸企业与海外买家在签订贸易合同时，都会要求将人民币汇率波动纳入产品定价调整条款，由此将部分汇率波动压力转嫁到海外买家身上。
此外，鉴于年初市场普遍预计美联储延续QE货币政策令美元持续下跌，不少外贸企业降低了外贸美元结算比重，转而与海外买家签订基于欧元、日元等其他货币结算的外贸合同，相应减轻了人民币兑美元汇率剧烈上下波动所造成的出口利润下滑压力。
具体而言，4月以来，人民币汇率CFET指数整体涨幅仅有0.06%，表明人民币兑一篮子货币的涨幅相当有限，令很多采取其他非美货币结算贸易款的企业感受不到人民币升值所带来的出口利润下滑压力。
“近期我们的出口订单依然相当旺盛，丝毫感受不到人民币升值所带来的海外竞争压力。”一位从事小家电生产出口的外贸企业负责人介绍，一些采用人民币结算贸易款的海外买家鉴于人民币兑美元汇率大概率持续升值，正采取外汇套保措施以降低未来人民币付款的购汇成本，这某种程度进一步推高了人民币汇率涨幅。
受益储备货币地位持续提升
在BK Asset Management宏观经济研究主管Boris Schlossberg看来，4月以来人民币汇率走势强于美元，还得益于人民币在全球储备货币的占比持续走高。甚至人民币在某些国家外汇储备的比重远远超过了2.25%平均值。
比如近日俄罗斯央行公布的最新数据显示，截至2020年底，人民币在俄罗斯国际储备资产中所占的比例则由2019年的12.3%，进一步提升至12.8%。
“此外，不少新兴市场国家外汇储备里的人民币资产占比也达到5%-6%。”一位外资银行环球银行业务部门董事总经理向记者透露。随着越来越多全球央行持续加码人民币在外汇储备的比重，众多投资机构正纷纷调高人民币的均衡汇率估值。比如他们预计今年会有逾千亿美元资金流入人民币债券市场，令人民币的全球外汇储备规模进一步提升，带动人民币兑美元汇率有望在年底突破6.2整数关口。
“但是，人民币汇率绝不会呈现单边上涨走势，而是在双向波动过程延续稳步升值态势。”他强调说。尤其是当前人民币与美元延续较高的负相关性，一旦美元指数反弹很可能令人民币遭遇阶段性下跌。
前述华尔街大型宏观经济型对冲基金经理表示，对此他们已经做好了应对预案，在人民币汇率上涨期间，他们会尽可能减少汇率风险对冲套保操作，令人民币资产投资组合回报趋于最大化，反之他们会迅速买入人民币远期期权等衍生品进行汇率下跌风险对冲，优先确保人民币资产投资组合的回报稳健性。
