当地时间5月24日，美股三大指数集体收涨。截至收盘，道指涨0.54%报34393.98点，标普500指数涨0.99%报4197.05点，纳指涨1.41%报13661.17点。
行业板块方面，大型科技股集体上涨，苹果公司涨1.33%，亚马逊涨1.31%，奈飞公司涨1.01%，谷歌母公司Alphabet涨2.92%，Facebook涨2.66%，微软公司涨2.29%。
值得关注的是，经历过上周末的大跌后，比特币等加密货币价格反弹。
周一盘中，市值最大的加密货币比特币突破39000美元；在上周跌幅最大时，比特币较其64800美元的最高值下挫超过50%。第二大加密货币以太坊价格突破2500美元。

5月23日，比特币指数一度大跌近17%，最低报31192.40美元/枚。按照今年4月中旬前后的峰值64800美元/枚计算，这个世界第一加密货币的价格已经近乎腰斩。
彭博统计显示，今年以来，特斯拉股价已经累计下跌16.85%，而马斯克的个人身家也减少了约123亿美元，是彭博亿万富翁指数中缩水最多的富豪。本周，马斯克在该榜单上的排名也降至第三。
而近期比特币更成为其财富的最大变数之一。根据特斯拉最近财报显示，截至2020年3月31日，公司持有比特币的公允市场价值为24.8亿美元，这意味着如果该公司兑现，有望获利约10亿美元。而3月31日，比特币每枚价格为59000美元，以其“24.8亿美元的市值中有10亿美元是盈利”计算，特斯拉的比特币持仓平均成本在25000美元/枚。如今，随着比特币大幅折价，其财报预估的大幅盈利早已不复存在。这一波下跌狂潮也已经抹去马斯克自1月下旬以来的比特币收益。
马斯克本人对于比特币的态度也变得略显谨慎。5月13日马斯克一反常态，表示停止接受比特币购车，理由是比特币耗能太大、不环保。
华尔街开始担忧特斯拉
尽管暂时股价反弹，却有更多华尔街大型机构开始担忧特斯拉的前景，包括但不限于其与比特币的关联。
美国银行大幅下调了特斯拉的目标价，该行分析师John Murphy将特斯拉评级为中性，他将特斯拉的目标股价从每股900美元下调了22%至700美元，并表示特斯拉首选的融资方式可能会限制股价的上涨空间。
他强调，“特斯拉利用股市和股票大热的机会在2020年筹集了数十亿美元资金。但近几个月来，市场对电动车股票的热情有所降温。特斯拉出售更多股票为增长提供资金的潜在可能会对股东造成更大的稀释。特斯拉面临的一个问题是，与6个月前相比，公司现在在股市融资的难度升高了。”
富国银行也表示，特斯拉的股价即使在最近回调后仍显得很高，目前看其上涨空间极其有限。该行分析师Colin Langan表示，特斯拉10年内达到汽车交付量超过1200万辆，这一数字比目前任何一家全球汽车制造商都要大。目前尚不清楚特斯拉是否有能力证明其正在建设的新产能是合理的。特斯拉还面临着电池成本和自动驾驶仪功能可能面临监管等其他可能的利空。
