英国是Uber 最大的海外市场之一，占该公司总预订量的6％以上。
法国最高法院去年判决，Uber 司机与公司之间存有「永久法律上从属关系」，其独立身分为「虚构的」。
该公司的决定将受到Uber 其他大型欧洲市场的劳工运动者审视，他们期盼这会成为先例，例如西班牙已经在计画立法，将零工经济工作者归类为全职雇员。
