目前Uber公司与英国原告针对最低工资的计算时间上未达成共识，Uber认为这不应该包含司机登入app后在线等待乘客的时间。英国自4月1日起最低工资调涨至时薪8.91英镑(12.4美元)。
英国是Uber 最大的海外市场之一，占该公司总预订量的6％以上。
法国最高法院去年判决，Uber 司机与公司之间存有「永久法律上从属关系」，其独立身分为「虚构的」。
